The Whitstable Cinema is designed to be more than just a place to watch movies; it’s a communal hub where film enthusiasts gather to meet, take a break, and share their love for cinema with family and friends. Just a few minutes walk from West Beach, Whitstable Harbour and Tankerton Beach, we strive to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere, without the distractions of watching a movie at home. Each cinema weekender, we showcase at least one British independent film, one World Cinema release, as well as one family film. The intention is to ensure there’s something for everyone. Beyond the screen, we offer a delightful selection of food and drinks from local Whitstable-based vendors, such as Bears Ice Cream, Honey Kanes Pick-n-mix, Sweets from Evan Popcorn and Old School Pizza. We believe that movies have the power to connect our community, and transport audiences to far flung parts of the world.
