Welcome to The Whitstable Cinema.
By booking tickets or attending our screenings, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:
1. Tickets & Booking
All tickets must be purchased in advance online or at the cinema box office (where available).Tickets are non-refundable except in the event of a cancelled screening. Please check your booking carefully, we cannot guarantee changes after purchase. Concession tickets are available to those who meet the stated eligibility requirements and may require proof of status.
2. Age Policy
We follow the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) age ratings. You must be of the required age to attend age-restricted films.For 12A screenings, children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Proof of age may be requested on entry; admission may be refused without valid ID.
3. Admission & Conduct
We reserve the right to refuse admission or ask anyone to leave if their behaviour disrupts others’ enjoyment. Please arrive in good time - though we will endeavour to accommodate, latecomers may not be admitted once the film has started. Mobile phones and devices should be switched off or silenced during screenings.
4. Accessibility
We aim to make our cinema as inclusive as possible, with step-free access, accessible toilets, and wheelchair spaces available. Assistance dogs are welcome. Please check our Accessibility Statement for full details and let us know if you have any specific needs before your visit.
5. Food & Drink
Only refreshments purchased at the cinema may be consumed on the premises. Alcohol (if sold on site) will only be served to those aged 18 or over.
6. Privacy & Data
We respect your privacy. Personal information collected for bookings or mailing lists will only be used in line with our Privacy Policy.
7. Liability
We are not responsible for personal belongings brought into the cinema.Events may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances; in such cases, we will do our best to inform customers as soon as possible.
8. The Workers League
Each ticket sold includes free membership to The Workers League and 10% off Day Passes at The Workers League Whitstable. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions you agree that we will share your name and email with The Workers League for membership services. Neither The Whitstable Cinema nor The Workers League will share this information with any other third parties and will only use your email for genuine identification and informational purposes.
